THE LISTENING PARTY

June 4th 2026 - Quinta da Ribafria - Sintra

Ahead of the release of Far From God, Moonspell welcomed fans and members of the press to the beautiful Quinta da Ribafria, in Sintra, for a special afternoon dedicated to the band's new album.

In the unique surroundings of one of Sintra's most iconic landmarks, guests had the opportunity to listen to Far From God in its entirety for the very first time, sharing the excitement of discovering the album together before its official release.

The afternoon also featured a lengthy autograph session, giving everyone plenty of time to meet the band, have records and memorabilia signed, take selfies, and share a few moments together. Guests were also treated to a selection of Sintra's traditional pastries and local wine, making the event feel as welcoming as it was memorable.

As a special highlight, attendees were invited on a guided tour of Quinta da Ribafria, including the historic staircase that will serve as Moonspell's stage for the exclusive Far From God concert on September 12th.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for this special afternoon. Sharing the very first listening experience of Far From God with so many familiar faces made the occasion truly unforgettable, and it was the perfect way to begin the album's journey.

FNAC TALKS

As part of the Far From God release campaign, Moonspell visited FNAC Colombo, in Lisbon, and FNAC NorteShopping, in Porto, for two special talks dedicated to the band's latest album. These afternoons offered fans the opportunity to go beyond the music and discover the stories, ideas and creative process behind Far From God.

The Lisbon event saw Moonspell in conversation with Padre João Sarmento, resulting in a thoughtful and often philosophical discussion that explored the album's themes of faith, doubt, redemption and the human condition. In Porto, the band was joined by José Carlos Guimarães (Caminhos Metálicos) and Far From God producer Jaime Gomez Arellano for a conversation centred on the making of the record, the recording sessions and the collaboration that shaped its final sound. Together, the two talks offered different perspectives on Far From God, revealing both its conceptual foundations and its musical journey.

OFFICIAL RELEASE PARTIES

The celebrations continued with two official Far From God Release Parties, bringing the Moonspell family together for two unforgettable nights in Lisbon and Porto.

The first event took place on July 3rd at RCA Club in Lisbon, where fans gathered to celebrate the arrival of Far From God alongside the band. Organized in partnership with Rockline Tribe, the evening featured a special Moonspell DJ set, an exclusive merchandise pop-up store and an open bar during the first hour, setting the tone for a night filled with music, celebration and reunion.

The following evening, the festivities moved to GYM Porto Bar, where Moonspell met their northern fans for another memorable gathering. Fernando Ribeiro and Francis Cole (Noites de Outro Lugar) took over the DJ booth, while the rest of the band spent the evening with fans, signing records, taking selfies and celebrating the release of the album.

Both release parties offered fans the chance to meet the band, browse exclusive merchandise, and celebrate the beginning of the Far From God era surrounded by friends - old and new. They were two nights filled with great music, shared memories and the unique sense of "Wolfpack" that has always defined Moonspell.
