Following the success of their orchestral concerts in Lisbon (MEO Arena, 2024) and Mexico City (2026), MOONSPELL return to Portugal for an exclusive date in Alcobaça. The concert will take place on 5 December at Sala Panorama, as part of a special edition of Fronteiras, presented by the prestigious Cistermúsica festival.
A total of 50 musicians will take to the stage. MOONSPELL’s regular line-up will be joined by the Orquestra Sinfonietta de Lisboa, conducted by maestro Vasco Pearce de Azevedo, with orchestral arrangements by pianist and composer Filipe Melo.
Alcobaça will thus host the third-ever presentation of this magnificent show, bringing together the power of heavy metal and the grandeur of a symphony orchestra. Immortalised on a live album and DVD, and acclaimed by both critics and audiences, this encounter reveals a new dimension to Portugal’s most internationally renowned metal band.
In the Land of Passion, MOONSPELL reinvent themselves once again in a concert not to be missed.
